Alfi Albergo Chrome-Plated Tea/Coffee Thermal Carafe, 50-Ounce

The other person must be from a planet of coffee snobs...I thought I was...I drink more coffee than anyone on ANY PLANET.
This ALFI is the best, hands down.
There's not much in the world that will keep your coffee hot forever; this is Earth.
It's easy, looks great, and I just can't believe anyone could write something bad about this.
I got mine as a gift, as they knew I wanted it!, and couldn't be happier.

Alfi Albergo Beige Faux Wicker Thermal Carafe, 33-Ounce

Lest you be surprised as I was, note that the top and handle of this carafe are plastic, and not a very substantial plastic either. Now, a plastic carafe made in China, with admittedly fine Chinese basketry can be a good thing, it's not a good thing at this price. Also, I wasn't able to make the lid work - but that may be my problem - not sure...

I had been buying these filters from another supplier, and was pleased to find these at about 25% less than I was paying. Contrary to an earlier review, I did receive six filters - original Saeco brand - that worked great. Shipping was fast and efficient. Overall a great transaction.

Seemed complicated at first, but is actually quite easy after the first time or two. Yummy espresso. Foaming wand makes thick, delicious foam for cappuccino. Easy to clean. The pump is quite loud when passing water for the espresso, but that's only a minute.

I love this iSi creamer! I won it at a silent auction and use it two or three times a week. This stainless product whips and keeps organic heavy cream under refrigeration for up to 6 WEEKS ~ though mine is empty every two weeks. This product comes with "cake decorating tips" that easily attach to the nozzle. I can make a salmon mousse and pipe it onto crackers, add a sprig of dill and serve a beautiful appetizer in under 15 minutes! You will need to buy a box of O2 chargers. You will need two chargers per one quart of mass. I most always have organic cream in my charger ~ pumpkin pie is always on tap at our house! I can fill my iSi, take it along in the car and create upon my arrival. No more sliding food on my car floor! I use this item almost as often as my coffee maker! It breaks down into four separate pieces; three of which are top rack dishwasher safe and the stainless container fits nicely on the lower rack, though all are easily hand washable. Enjoy!
